3. Booking and Appointments
3.1 Making a Booking
- Bookings can be made through our online booking system (Timely) or by contacting us directly
- A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email
- You must provide accurate contact and hair information when booking
- By booking, you confirm you are 16 years or older (or have parental consent)
3.2 Deposits and Payment
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future appointment
- Full payment is due on the day of service
- We accept cash, card, and electronic payments
- Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable
3.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy:
- 48+ hours notice: Full refund or reschedule with no penalty
- 24-48 hours notice: Deposit forfeited, but can be rescheduled once
- Less than 24 hours: Deposit forfeited, 50% cancellation fee applies
- No-show: Full appointment cost charged
- Emergency circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis
4. Service Delivery
4.1 Consultation
All clients receive a free consultation before treatment. During consultation, we assess your hair condition and determine the most suitable treatment. You must disclose all relevant information about your hair history, including chemical treatments, health conditions, and allergies.
4.2 Treatment Process
- Treatment times are estimates and may vary based on hair length and condition
- We use professional-grade, formaldehyde-free products
- Patch tests may be recommended for sensitive scalps
- You will receive detailed aftercare instructions
4.3 Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Arriving on time for your appointment
- Providing accurate information about your hair history
- Following aftercare instructions
- Informing us of any adverse reactions during or after treatment
- Arriving with clean, dry hair (unless otherwise instructed)
5. Results and Guarantees
5.1 Expected Results
While we strive for excellent results, hair treatments can vary based on individual hair type, condition, and aftercare. Results are not guaranteed to be identical to photos or previous treatments. Typical longevity is 3-7 months depending on treatment type and maintenance.
5.2 Satisfaction Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with your treatment:
- Contact us within 7 days of treatment
- We'll assess the issue and offer a solution (re-treatment, adjustment, or refund)
- This guarantee doesn't apply if aftercare instructions weren't followed
- Natural variation in results is not grounds for refund
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Medical Conditions
You must inform us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any medical conditions or allergies. While our products are formaldehyde-free and generally safe, we recommend consulting your doctor before treatment if you have health concerns.
6.2 Allergies and Reactions
- Patch tests are available upon request and recommended for sensitive individuals
- If you experience any adverse reaction, inform us immediately
- We are not liable for allergic reactions to products when full disclosure wasn't provided
6.3 Pre-existing Hair Damage
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if hair is severely damaged or if treatment may cause further damage. This decision will be made during consultation and is at our professional discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to:
- Resupply of services
- Payment of the cost of having services supplied again
- Refund of the amount paid for services
7.2 Consumer Guarantees
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a remedy if the services fail to meet consumer guarantees. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any statutory rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
